August Month Activity: Know Your Local Government

KLE School, Belagavi conducted *Mock Elections* initiated by Desh Apnayen Sahayog Foundation on 30/7/2024 for Grade: 6th, 7th, and 8th.

To educate students about the democratic process and encourage active citizenship.

1. Students demonstrated enthusiasm and engagement throughout the process.
2. Candidates showcased effective campaigning and public speaking skills.
3. Voters exercised their right to vote responsibly and democratically.

The mock elections provided a valuable learning experience for our students, teaching them about democracy, leadership, and civic responsibility. We look forward to seeing the elected representatives make a positive impact in their respective classes.

August Month Activity: Know Your Local Government

August month activity was conducted on 22/8/2023

1. Students were able to understand the role and structure of the Local Government
2. Students were given different local issues.
3. Students were able to describe the structure and role of the local government in context to resolving a local issue.

January Month Activity: We Are Community

January month activity was conducted on 19/01/2023
1. Students were shown the interdependence that exists in our society
2. Students were made aware about the interdependence and its importance in their own life
3. Skills – Analytical skill, Team Spirit, and Communication skills.

February Month Activity: Pride in India

February month activity was conducted on 15/02/2023
1. Students were able to think about the uniqueness of their country as compared to the other countries.
2. Students acquired knowledge about diversity in India.
3. Students will be aware of different areas where they should feel proud as an Indian Citizen.
4. Students were able to creatively display their own feelings about India.
